What is the difference between Task mode and Chat mode?
Task mode uses tools to research, read files, run calculations and create deliverables. Chat mode is for quick questions, explanations, writing and follow-up discussion. Choose your mode in the message box before sending.
Can Menus AI search the web?
Yes. In Task mode, Menus AI can search the web, read public pages and compare information across multiple sources. Ask for a research summary or comparison, and keep the source links with your results.
Which files can I work with?
Attach PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and supported text or code files using the plus button in the message box. Menus AI can use their contents to answer questions, summarize, analyze or create a new deliverable.
Can it create documents and run calculations?
Yes. Task mode can run Python and JavaScript calculations and create downloadable PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. It also supports text, Markdown, CSV, JSON, HTML and source-code deliverables.
How do credits work?
Eligible new accounts receive 20 welcome credits. Chat mode uses 1 credit per reply. Task mode reserves up to 8 credits: model calls and paid searches each use 1 credit, and unused credits are returned. The selected mode and budget are shown before you send.
Can I save, organize and share my work?
Yes. Conversations are saved to your account so you can reopen them and continue. Projects group related work and reference material. You can also create a share link for a task and manage it from your workspace.
Can I schedule recurring tasks?
Yes. Open Scheduled tasks in the workspace to configure a recurring task. You can review its runs and results, adjust the schedule or pause it when needed.
How do I get started?
Write your request on the homepage, choose a mode and click Send. Sign in with Google or a secure email link, then continue in the full workspace with your request preserved.
Which languages does Menus AI support?
Write your request in the language you prefer. You can also ask Menus AI to translate, rewrite or prepare a document in another language.
