Attach up to 5 documents, such as meeting notes, a contract or a data export, and have the report built from their contents.
From web research
Ask for research first. Menus AI searches the web, reads up to 8 public pages and writes the findings and source list into the report.
From calculations
Have figures computed with Python or JavaScript, then placed into the report or a spreadsheet instead of being estimated.

From request to finished file

Ask for the report and the format
In Task mode, describe the report and name the file type, for example "as a Word document" or "as a PDF".

Follow the task
Watch as Menus AI gathers material, writes the content and saves the file. Finished files appear in the Files panel with a text preview.

Download and revise
Download the file, or reply with changes such as "shorten the summary" or "add a risks section". Earlier files can be read and revised in the same conversation.
KNOW THE LIMITS
What to expect from generated files
- Reports are text-first. There is no visual designer, image generation or chart rendering, so apply your own template and visuals afterwards.
- Excel files contain values, not formulas. Totals are calculated during the task and written as numbers.
- A generated file can be at most 5 MB.
- Review the content before you send it. A generated report is a strong first draft, not a checked final document.

Questions and answers
Can AI generate a report as a Word document?
Yes. Ask Menus AI for the report "as a Word document" in Task mode and it saves a .docx file with headings and paragraphs that you can open and edit in Word or a compatible app.
Can I generate a PDF report from my own data?
Yes. Attach up to 5 files, such as a spreadsheet or a document, describe the report you want and ask for a PDF. Menus AI reads the attached content and writes the report from it.
Do the reports include charts or images?
No. Generated office files contain text and tables only. Add charts and images in your own office app after downloading.
Can I edit the generated files?
Yes. Word, Excel and PowerPoint files open in standard office apps. You can also ask Menus AI to revise a file in the same conversation.
Does the report include sources?
When the task uses web research, the source links are kept with the answer and can be written into the report as a source list.
Is the AI report generator free?
